The program is designed to succeed the Philippines-Australia Human Resource and Organizational Development Facility (PAHRODF) which has been the Australian Government's flagship program to support human resource management, capacity building and organizational development in the Philippines since 2010. The AAAEP will build on the gains made, and lessons learned in the course of the implementation of the PAHRODF by continuing to target scholarships, short courses and fellowships to key priority sectors in both the public and private sector.
